The lesson from the last session taking flight

Amal Academy is a Stanford University-funded startup launched by a team of Acumen Fund and Stanford MBA/MA alums. The goal of Amal Academy is to help marginalized students realize their career dreams, specifically by providing them with professional training (e.g., communication, etiquette, problem-solving, etc.) and industry linkages. Also, develop reputable corporations through training and placement services.

My journey of Amal Fellowship started in Feb 2021. So, I also had a curiosity about this fellowship, what I will learn from here that I can implement in my life and grow myself professionally. 21 March 2021 was our first class. Amal Academy’s classes are usually onsite, but in 2021 all of our fellowships were online through zoom application due to the Corona virus pandemic. I was also a little confused about how we can learn better in online classes instead of onsite classes. But the hard work and efforts of our Amal Facilitators Mam Naqsh Nasir and sir Ahmad left no stone upturned in our teaching environment and we enjoyed the learning very effectively.

I loved the appreciation notes on Padlet to know what others have experience with me and to tell other fellows that what was my experience with them. I loved the comments and feedback of further improvement.

Also, I loved the other fun activity named “The scrolls of secret”, in which after uncovering the secret from riddle we were supposed to take picture with that object

WE’LL MISS YOU!

This session was totally different from other sessions. There were no rules of raising hands and all was just FUN, FUN and FUN, unlike other regular sessions of fellowship which involved WORK, WORK and WORK + FUN. That day helped us a lot to make the whole fellowship a memorable experience, to move forward on a new journey and a fresh enthusiasm to achieve our goals. It was like a freshener and a moment of joy to celebrate our effort for the whole journey with a new spirit for new beginnings. It gives a feeling that now you are ready to take part to the race of your dreams. Be ready to give your best.
