Iqbaliyat:
Muslims of India experienced the expression of the sword in the War of independence in 1857 which failed to accomplish their goal and reviving the glorious Muslim rule. On the contrary, the services rendered through pen cultivated thoughts in the masses facilitated them in releasing their strength to overcome weaknesses and motivated them cherished their dreams. Allama Iqbal stood distinguished in this regard. He experienced intellectual growth and conveyed and nurtured his thoughts to the Muslims of India to understand and strife for their separate identity. He was a political philosopher who provided ideological foundations to the Pakistan movement and came to be known as ‘spiritual father of Pakistan.
نعرہ زد عشق کہ خونیں جگرے پیدا شُد
حسن لرزید کہ صاحب نظرے پیدا شُد
عشق نے نعرہ بلند کیا کہ ایک خونیں جگر پیدا ہو گیا ہے، حسن شرما گیا کہ صاحب نظر آ پہنچا۔
‘Here’s one with a bleeding heart’, rang abroad Love’s joyous cry. Beauty trembled and said, ‘Look! Here’s one with a seeing eye.’
فطرت آشفت کہ از خاکِ جہانِ مجبور
خود گرے خود شکنے خود نگرے پیدا شُد
فطرت چیں بچیں ہوئی کہ (اس) جہان مجبور کی خاک سے ایسی با اختیار ہستی وجود میں آئی جو اپنے آپ کا شعور رکھتی ہے، جو اپنے آپ کو توڑ کر نئے سرے سے بنا سکتی ہے۔
Nature was surprised to see from its passive dust appear, all of a sudden, one who was of himself maker. breaker, seer.
آرزو بیخبر از خویش بہ آغوشِ حیات
چشم وا کرد و جہانِ دگرے پیدا شُد
آرزو جو آغوش حیات میں اپنے آپ سے بے خبر (سوئی) تھی،
اس نے آنکھ کھولی اور ایک نیا جہان وجود میں آ گیا۔
Not yet self-aware, desire lay curled up in Being’s lap. Opening its eyes, it saw before it a new world unwrap.
Allama Muhammad Iqbal envisioned Pakistan along the lines of conscious, active participation in civic life. As a citizen of Pakistan, I see myself looking to apply the fundamentals of Iqbaliyat as they were developed, to my life in 2020.
I attended a seminar in Gujrat 2019 .General meeting of the executive council of positive Pakistan foundation Gujrat chapter. which makes my interest in Iqbaliyat. after attending the second session of Amal.
I just started thinking about Iqbailyat.
I realize that after reading Iqbaliyat I will recognize my inner self my khudi.
I am detriment now. I will continue this goal my whole life. I believe that The pen is mightier than the sword. INSHALLAH, I will serve Pakistan with the power of my pen.
